I've wrestled with the idea of starting a personal blog for years. I could never decide between creating a fashion blog or a design blog, but inevitably always ended up deciding that I'm not thin/attractive/fashionable enough for a fashion blog or creative/talented/knowledgeable enough for a design blog. Or, what if my posts are dull? What if my photos are terrible? What if no one reads my blog? Eventually, I realized that I'm completely over-thinking this whole blog thing. It's only a contest if I make it a contest, and I'd rather not do that. I'm not perfect, my life isn't perfect, and this blog certainly won't be perfect. I'd prefer for Wild and Forlorn to come together organically, so I'm not going to force it into any specific category except general lifestyle blog. I think this will be a fun way of chronicling all of the wonderful and interesting stories and photos of my life while honing a few creative skills and making new friends. In addition to sharing little tidbits from my day to day, I hope to also include occasional outfit posts, craft projects, and recipes.
